Heavy Metals in Rice
A nationwide study by Healthy Babies Bright Futures found that rice sold across the U.S. contains toxic heavy metals, including arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury. After testing 145 rice brands in 20 major cities, researchers detected arsenic in every sample, with one in four exceeding the FDA’s limit for infant rice cereal.
